Funeral services for Daniel "Danny" A. Kappel, 50, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Danny Kappel passed away Friday, January 31, 225 at his home. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 23, 1974, the son of Donald Kappel Jr. and Norma Jean (Cunningham) Boggs.

Danny grew up in Grandview, Texas and graduated from Grandview High School. He enjoyed the country life and was raised on a Grade A Goat Dairy where he learned valuable lessons and developed a passion for taking care of animals.

Over the last 12 years, Danny used those lessons from the Dairy to develop a very successful purebred show line kennel of German Shepherds. People from all over the world purchased or bred with his dogs. He showed some of his dogs and won awards. He was a good business man and was well liked in the community.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Donald Kappel, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Norma J. Boggs of Covington, Texas; sisters, Rebecca Lynn of Sedona, Arizona and Lorinda S. Kappel of Granbury, Texas; step-sister, Shelly Boggs of Cleburne, Texas; step-brother, Shane Boggs of Frisco, Texas; nephews, Devian R. Boggs-Perez of Cleburne and Dimitri A. Boggs of Abilene, Texas; nieces, Aspen R. Kappel of Burleson, Texas and Nevaeh S. Boggs-Kappel of Covington;great grand nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Sydnie Porter and her son, Hudson, both of Cleburne; and a host of other family members and friends.
