Funeral services for Darryl C. Looper, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 10, 2022 in Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marc West officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Darryl C. Looper passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Keene. He was born September 13, 1935 in Cleburne to Dora (Sanders) and H.F. Looper. He married Evelyn Bowman on October 25, 1957 in Amarillo, Texas.

Mr. Looper served in the National Guard and was a retired firefighter with Lockheed Corp. He was a longtime member of Buel Baptist Church. Darryl was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; two brothers, Jackie Looper and James Alton Looper and three grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammie Taylor and husband, Dan of Cleburne, Sharon Hamilton and husband, Kenneth of Rio Vista and Kelly Jordon of Cleburne; grandchildren, Ricky Mathis and wife, Kristal, Terry Peterson and wife, Claudia, Chris Jordon, Amanda Taylor and husband, Dustin, Sarah Corley and husband, Jeremy, J.B. Paschal and wife, Lissa, Dana Hamilton and husband, Rick and Katie Hamilton and husband, Brandon; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
