Cleofe Dizon Davis
A memorial service for Cleofe Dizon Davis, 67, of Keene, Texas will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Chapel.
Cleofe passed away on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born December 16, 1945 in Binalonan, Philippines to Emiliana (Lazan) and Emiliano Dizon.
Cleofe was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. She worked as a massage therapist in her husband’s chiropractic clinic in Keene for over 30 years. Cleofe earned a BS in Biology while in the Philippines before immigrating to the US to marry John. She loved gardening, taking family road trips, reading, painting, playing the piano, and spending time with her dogs. Above all, Cleofe loved her family and was willing to sacrifice anything for them. Her grandkids were her pride and joy. Even in the midst of her struggle with breast cancer, which lasted for nine years, Cleofe continued strongly towards achieving her purpose in life – to help others feel better through her work. She cared for her last patient this August.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Fielding Davis; and brother, Geoffrey Dizon.
Cleofe is survived by her son, James Davis and wife, Christina of Keene; daughter, Emelia Ann Davis of Keene; grandchildren Jonathan and Isaac Davis; and sisters, Fe Stockwell and husband, Scott of Keene, Lydia Vinluan of the Philippines, Caridad Ganding of Loma Linda, CA., and Grace Narvaez of Orlando, FL.
