Obituary for
Ronnie Day
A memorial service celebrating the life of Ronnie Day, 64, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Cana Baptist Church, 2309 E. Renfro St, Burleson, TX 76028. Pastor Dave Phelps will officiate.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mr. Day passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at his home. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky, on July 22, 1949, the son of Florence (Walker) and Charles Day, Jr.
Ronnie was the manager for the machine maintenance group at Owen Oil Tools for over 21 years. In his spare time, he loved to play the role of Andy Griffith and use his replica 1965 Mayberry Squad Car for various events, or simply to make others smile. He was of the Christian faith.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Donnie.
He is survived by his wife, Edra Day; son, Cory Day and wife, Candace, all of Burleson; grandchildren, Lizzie Day, Kaleb Day, and Julia Miller; siblings, Pat Wagner and husband, Ed, Gary Day, Wanda Hatcher and husband, Tom, Mary Chambers, Sherry Butts and husband, Dennis, James Day, and Jeffery Day and wife, Rhonda; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and of course, Gracie.
