Funeral services for Dustin Ray Dodson, 25, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Cleburne with Chaplain Paul Gilbreath officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Dustin passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne on December 15, 1986, the son of Janice Kay (O’Neal) and Mark Alan Dodson. Dustin married Courtney Thomas on December 3, 2005 in Cleburne.
A graduate of Cleburne High School, Dustin began his law enforcement career as an officer with the Cleburne Police Department before joining the Lancaster Police Department.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Ray Dodson.
Dustin is survived by his wife, Courtney Dodson; sons, Riley Dodson and Colby Dodson; daughter, Lori Dodson, all of Cleburne; parents, Mark Alan and Janice Kay Dodson; brother, Devin Lee Dodson, all of Alvarado, Texas; grandparents, Jerry Dodson and J. F. and Jo O’Neal; mother and father in-law, Richard and Betty Blakley.
