Funeral services for Dolores Faye Farmer, 94, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Hagins officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 -11 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mrs. Farmer passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born in San Saba, Texas on December 21, 1929, to Bessie (Shaw) and Earl Cochran.
Mrs. Farmer was of the Christian faith. She worked with both the Brownies and Cub Scouts; and was active in PTA and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Farmer loved to crochet and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and was known for her sense of humor and quick wit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Conrad Farmer; son, Mike Farmer; and brother, Wally Cochran.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by her son, William Earl and wife, Dianna of Midlothian, Texas; daughter, Connie Nelson and husband, John, of Cleburne; sister-in-law, Sherry Cochran, of Denton; daughter-in-law, Jackie Farmer, of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
