Obituary for Sherry Eileen Dunavin (Marler)
A memorial service celebrating the life of Sherry Dunavin, 67, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at the Westhill Church of Christ with Bro. Kern Porter officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mrs. Dunavin passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at her home. She was born in Matador, Texas on May 10, 1947, the daughter of Evelyn (Coker) Marler and Robert Marler.
Sherry married Patrick Henry Dunavin on Feb. 5, 1968. She was a retired realtor and was a member of Westhill Church of Christ.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Mayfield and Robert Marler.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Dunavin of Cleburne; sons, Patrick Dunavin II and wife, Joleen, of Hawaii and Scotty Dunavin and wife, Cori, of Alaska; daughters, Amy Hatleberg and husband, Shawn, of Maypearl, Texas and Jennifer Taylor and husband, Darryle of Cleburne; brothers, Dennis Marler of Killeen, Texas and Danny Marler of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Dustin Torres, Dalton Torres, Colton Hatleberg, Dryden Taylor, Easton Hatleberg, Caleb Dunavin and Eli Dunavin.
Memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels of Johnson County, 1601 N. Anglin Street, Cleburne, TX 76031.
