Dobie Durham (Walls)

Funeral services for Dobie Durham, 63, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Blum Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Hodges, Kevin Hodges, Joey Allen, Dan McCall, Carl Rhone, and Josh Bigham. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Allen, Benny Lee Baxter, and Brandon Baxter.
Dobie passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on March 12, 1957, the daughter of Billye Joan (Pruitt) and Thomas E. Walls, Jr.
Dobie was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was loved by everyone that knew her. She was passionate about her family and friends and always put their well being above hers, no matter how difficult times were for her. Her greatest joys in life came while she was sitting in the stands with her family watching her grandchildren play the sports they loved. A member of Blum Baptist Church, Dobie will be missed greatly, but her family and friends take great solace in knowing that she is not hurting anymore and she is in Heaven where she belongs.
She was preceded in death by her father, “Pete” Walls and mother, Joan Steagall.
Dobie is survived by her sons, Ben Allen and wife, Shelley, of Aledo, Texas and Randy Allen and wife, Carlie, of Cleburne; brothers, David Walls and Billy Pete Walls and wife, Julie; sister, Melissa Steagall, all of Blum, Texas; grandchildren Gunnar, Madison, Alexis, Skylar, and Abel; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
