Funeral service for Alecia Eakin, 40, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at
10 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Keith Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the funeral home.
Alecia Eakin passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on July 8, 1978 in Bedford, Texas to Cindy (Plunkett) and Michael Dean Joyner. Alecia married Richard Lynn Eakin on March 6, 2005 in Crowley, Texas. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother who brought sunshine wherever she went. Alecia was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Richard Eakin of Joshua; daughters, Hannah Lynn Roa and husband, Diego, of Cleburne, Texas, Hannah Kaitlyn Joyner of Joshua, Haley Elizabeth Eakin of Rainbow, Texas, Aubrey Anna Eakin, Layla June Eakin and Dusti Jo Eakin, all of Joshua; two grandchildren, Hadlee Roa and Gatlin Roa, both of Cleburne; mother, Cindy Eisenhauer of Keene, Texas; father, Michael Joyner of Pittsburg, Texas; brothers, Michael Joyner of Joshua and Ryan Shield of Palestine, Texas; sisters, Mindy Conner of Talco, Texas and Rachel Joyner of North Richland Hills, Texas; step-father, Loren Eisenhauer and wife, Linda; mother-in-law, Bobby Jo Osteen; father-in-law, Dempsey Eakin and wife, Donna; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
