Services for John W. Early, 78, of Keene, Texas were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at Keene Seventh-day Adventist Chapel. Burial followed in Keene Memorial Park. Pastor Geraldo Alonso and Pastor Larry Moore officiated. The family received visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
John passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Sept. 18, 1934 in Independence, MO to John Winchester Early and Chloe Allen Early. John served his country in the United States Navy. He married Carolyn Hobbs on July 22, 1974 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a member of the Joshua Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill and Bob Early.
John is survived by his wife, Carolyn Early of Keene; son, John Early and wife Julayn of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Danielle Bunkley and husband Jim of Keene; and four grandchildren.
