Keene—Memorial service for Frank Raymond Evans, 78, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastor Phil Robertson will officiate, assisted by Dr. Bill Kilgore.
A private graveside service was held at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Serving as pallbearers were Russell Brown, Ben Brown, Paul Brown, Luke Brown and Eric Gunter.
There is no visitation.
Mr. Evans passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Visalia, Calif. on February 27, 1933, the son of Ethel (Dukes) and Ray Evans. Frank married Maureen Gutenberg on February 12, 1966 in Boise, Idaho. He served his country in the US Navy and was a manufacturing engineer with both Boeing and LTV.
Frank was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Evans; sisters, Gladys Clarke and Doris Frigulti.
Frank Evans is survived by his wife, Maureen Evans of Keene; son, Russell Brown and wife, Jody, of Arlington; daughters, Jannene Gunter and husband, Eric, of North Richland Hills and Karyn Pearson and husband, Mark, of Tupelo, Miss.; sister, Aileen Morris of Calif.; grandchildren, Benjamin, Paul, Luke, Rebekah, and Rachel Brown, Ryan Williams, Alexa and Meredith Pearson; and two great-grandchildren.
