Earlene L. Fanning (Burge)
Earlene Burge Fanning, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, in Dallas, Texas. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Earlene was born on Sept. 3, 1933 in Waurika, Oklahoma, the daughter of Amy Jordan Burge and Earl G. Burge.
She taught school in Cleburne, Texas for 27 years before retiring from CISD. Earlene dedicated her entire life to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanton M. Fanning; two brothers, Jordan and Dean Barge and one nephew, Jim Barge.
Earlene Fanning is survived by her sons, Mark Fanning and wife, Robin, of Mineral Wells, Texas, Tim Fanning and wife, Rachel, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Jordan Fanning and wife, Angie, of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Carol Fowler of DeSoto, Texas; and brother-in-law, Francis Fanning of Arlington, Texas.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chase Fowler and wife, Ashley, Jordan Fowler; Gary Fanning and wife, Lisa, Sidney Fanning, Tara Fanning, Wells Fanning, Hannah Furstenburg and husband, Charles, Matt Fanning and wife, Ashley and Jacob Fanning; great-grandchildren, Caden Fanning, Max Fowler, Hayden and Abigail Fanning; and many nieces and nephews.
