Memorial services for Sheryl Kay Ferrell, 67, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Michael Maxwell will officiate.
Sheryl Ferrell passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born Nov. 22, 1944 in San Diego, California to Joe and Freida Powell.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her father; and husband, John Ferrell.
Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes in memory of Sheryl. At the age of 18 months she developed polio, just months before the vaccine was released. Sheryl became a poster child for the March of Dimes and the family appreciates all that this wonderful organization did for her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Duncan and husband Don of Alvarado; sons, Joseph Hitt of Benbrook, Kenneth Hitt and wife Helga of Las Vegas, Joshua Ferrell and Danna Webb of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kathleen Hitt, Joseph Colby Hitt, Madalyn Duncan, Dylan Duncan, Doyle Starnes, Lydia K Ferrell; mother, Freida Arias and husband Charles of Bullshead City, Arizona; brother, Raymond Ross of Arizona.
