A memorial service celebrating the life of Judith “Judi” Fincher, 76, of Joshua, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Judi passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Paris, Texas on September 20, 1944, the daughter of Aileen (Haley) and Douglas Hoffman.
Judi, who went by Nana, was a lady who loved her family fiercely. She was the glue that held us all together. There wasn’t much she wouldn’t do for us. She lit up with pride and loved when her grandchildren were around. Over the years, she and Pop would show up to cheer us on, rescue us or just be present in our lives whether it was reading to us, doing a puzzle or letting kids cook in her kitchen. Nana never met a stranger; she was always willing to help with anything asked of her. She loved to read, create beautiful heirlooms to be passed on for generations to come, and was a faithful watcher of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, among other shows. When it came to her friends, Nana had some of the best. Their friendship meant the world to her and over the years, it stood the test of time. She will be dearly missed by us all. We love you Nana!!
