Clint Forrest
Funeral services for lifelong Cleburne business man, Clint Forrest, 67, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Cleburne.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Murray Forrest, Christian Forrest, Will Holleman, Luke Bennett, Blake Bingham, Jeff England, Scott Pelham, Randy Edmonds and Dusty Rhodes.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Clint passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne on October 5, 1948, the son of Martha (Clarke) and O. C. Forrest, Jr.
Clint married Karen Murray on June 7, 1986 in Cleburne. He was retired as owner of Forrest Pontiac Buick GMC and was extremely active in his community.
He was a member of Rotary Club, serving as Vice-President; Lions Club; and Past President of the North Texas Chevrolet Dealers Association; and was a recipient of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Wall of Fame Award.
Clint had a strong belief in the Chisholm Trail Parkway and was very proud of being a member of the founding Board which was instrumental in bringing it to reality.
He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Cleburne.
Clint loved his family and enjoyed traveling with them on vacations and always taking photos. However, his greatest joy was becoming a grandfather to his two beautiful granddaughters.
Clint was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and O.C. Forrest, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Forrest of Cleburne; sons, Christian Forrest and Victoria, of Arlington, Texas and Michael Murray Forrest and Emily, of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Averie Forrest of Fort Worth and Diana LeBreton of Arlington; sisters-in-law, Suelynn Murray Lopez and Vince, of Flower Mound, Texas and Jeannine Marmaduke; nephew, Trey Graham and Gwen, of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
