Obituary for
Marvin C. Forsyth
Visitation for Marvin C. Forsyth, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be conducted from 1 – 2 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
A brief graveside service will be held at Rosehill Cemetery immediately following visitation. Service will be officiated by The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Mr. Forsyth passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 in Fort Worth. He was born in Johnson County, Texas on Aug. 9, 1933, the son of Rosa (Rhoades) and Mose Forsyth.
Mr. Forsyth served his country in the United States Army.
He was retired from the Cleburne ISD. Mr. Forsyth was also an active member of the Cleburne Elks Lodge #811 where he held many positions including Exalted Ruler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Annice Forsyth and second wife, Charlotte Engle Forsyth.
Mr. Forsyth is survived by his daughter, Lei Ann Forsyth and son-in-law, Brett Boggs, both of Fort Worth; step-daughter, Pamela Engle Mercer; step-granddaughter, Journey Mercer Fox; sister, June Ray; and nephew, Daniel Ray; and other family and friends.
