Frances Archer

Frances Karen Archer, a beloved wife, mom, sister, mimi, gingee, and friend passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, she lived much of her life in North Texas. She thrived on opportunities to strengthen her family and as a vibrant woman of many talents, explored a wide variety of occupations throughout her life. For her, none were more rewarding than working with students in the public school system and teaching children in her local church. She built strong relationships with her students and their families and supported them far beyond the classroom.

Karen (Fran) marched to the beat of her own drum and loved talking to anyone about the successes and experiences of her children and grandchildren. She found so much joy in supporting their passions; she was always the loudest voice cheering in the crowd and made the sweetest comments on every Facebook post and picture. She never met a stranger, especially if they were also a Dallas Cowboys fan! Her heart was as big as the ocean and she was a true friend to all, always willing to help anyone in need.

Fran leaves behind her best friend, the love of her life, David Archer. For 44 years, they celebrated many milestones and took on life's challenges hand-in-hand. They shared the joys and trials of raising 6 children, instilling in them the values of hard work, loyalty, perseverance, and to love the Lord.

Karen is survived by her loving children: Shawn Williams and wife Christina; Krista Williams; Stephen Tucker and wife Stephanie; Dallas Williams and wife Rebecca; Shayne Archer and wife Shannon; and Tricia Archer. Her sweet grandchildren: Hannah Tucker, Micah Tucker, Carmen Mihleder, Ava Tucker, Tyson Tucker, Landry Williams, Julianna Archer, DJ Archer, Jesse Archer, Ray Garcia, and John Garcia, plus great-grandchildren. Her devoted brother: Donnie Roach, and a host of friends she considers family.

A memorial service will be held at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Godley Baptist Church in her honor.

While we are heartbroken to say goodbye, we find comfort in our cherished memories as we learn to navigate life without her. Mom, cheers to your adventurous ride and unlimited Dr. Peppers in heaven. You will always be loved, deeply missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace.
