Military graveside services for Francisco “Frank” Salinas, 93, of Fort Worth, Texas will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday August 29, 2023 at the Rosser Funeral Home.

Francisco “Frank” Salinas passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born July 30, 1930 in Cerralvo Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Maria de Jesus Dominguez. He married his sweetheart, Graciela Garza on October 8, 1953 in Roma, Texas.

Mr. Salinas served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he was a prisoner of war for almost 2 years and was awarded a purple heart. Francisco was retired from General Motors and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel Salinas; one grandchild; and one brother.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 69 years, Graciela Salinas of Fort Worth; sons, Felipe Salinas and wife, Ann of San Antonio, Francisco Salinas, Jr and wife, Sharon of Dallas, and Carlos Salinas and wife, Georgia of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Maria Salinas Hayes and husband, Richard Herman of Chicago; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
