Services for Travis D. Freeman, 80, of Cleburne, Texas were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stephen McCoy officiated. Burial followed in Greenacres Memorial Park. The family received visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Travis passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born March 18, 1932 in Brownfield, Texas to Clarence Freeman and Charlotta Jane McWilliams Freeman. Travis served his country in the United States Air Force and for a long time worked with Continental Church builders as a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn June Freeman; four sisters; four brothers; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
He is survived by his sons, Sidney Freeman and wife Margie of Whitney, Bobby Freeman of Joshua; Danny McWilliams of Missouri; and Travis Freeman Trotter and wife Kay of Millsap; daughters, Carolyn Blackmon of Weatherford, Sue Ellis and husband Cecil and Missy Freeman all of Cleburne; brother, Junior Freeman of Wichita Falls; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
