Charles Wesley “Wes” Garrett
Services for Charles “Wes” Garrett, 71, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Hardisty and The Rev. Kim Long will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Wes passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Aug. 23, 1942 in Cleburne, Texas to Pauline Pearl (Smith) and John Garrett. Wes served his country in the United States National Guard. He married Susan Wade on June 16, 1972 in Cleburne. He retired from Johns-Manville where he worked as a Senior Quality Control Technician.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Lackey.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Wade Garrett of Cleburne; sons, Chaz Garrett and wife Jana, Casey Garrett and fiancé Ashley all of Cleburne; daughter, Courtnay Jones and husband Jason of Cleburne; grandson, Jay “Jaybo” Jones of Cleburne; sister, Gloria Parnell and husband Melvin of Cleburne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
