Visitation for Franklin Lewis Green, 72, of Cleburne, Texas will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home. No other services are planned.Mr. Green passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He was born Feb. 1, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to mother, Opal Weaver and father, Lewis L. Green.
Franklin worked for GM for 34 years and retired Oct. 1997. Franklin was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. His words of wisdom, his smile, and his laugh will never be forgotten.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Moore Green; son, Frankie Green, daughters, Terry Green, Melanie Wilkerson and spouse, Elmer, Shelly Green and spouse, Geno; grandchildren, Brandy Green and spouse, Trent, Christy Dey and spouse, Bubba, Ashley Green and spouse, Jason, and Wes Wilkerson and spouse, Layah; great grandchildren, Caleb, Cade, Colton, Jace, Macee, Gavin, Jayden, Taygen, Breck, and Ryder; brother, David Green and spouse, Shirley; step-brother, Lee Godfrey; sister, Evelyn Dean and spouse, Billy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
