James Greer

James Leon “Jamie” Greer, 57, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. There will be visitation prior to the start of service.
Jamie was born on May 20, 1960 in Fort Worth to Dorothy (Tucker) and Leon Greer.
He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1978. Jamie was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad after graduation and then later worked for Speco Graphics. When Speco Graphics closed, Jamie set up his own company, Unique Fold and Mail, in Joshua, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ann Greer on July 11, 2017 and wife, Marla Greenslade Greer in 2004.
Jamie is survived by his son, Jerrett Greer of Crowley, Texas; grandson, Jace Martin Greer of Odessa, Texas; father, Leon Greer of Cleburne; sisters, Debbie Chidgey of Cleburne, Cindy Caltagirone of Charleston, South Carolina and Christi Simpson of Pleasanton, California; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and longtime friend, Mark Burk of Cleburne.
