Joan L. Grizzard, 73, of Cleburne, Texas passed away at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Cleburne. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Grizzard was born on February 27, 1944 in Rock Springs, Wyoming the daughter of Eunice (Reames) and Robert Wright.
Joan and Asa Wayne Grizzard, Sr. were married December 19, 1982 in Abilene, Texas. She was a restaurant owner and was of the Christian faith.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; and children, Tina and Randy Wright and Wayne Grizzard, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Asa Wayne Grizzard, Sr.; daughters, Ronda Shepard and spouse, Jimmie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kathy Wofford and spouse, Gary, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lesa Matthews and spouse, Kathy, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Evvie Sams and spouse, Jesse, of Fort Worth, Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
