Memorial service for Marvin Franklin Hamilton, 78, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. There will not be a set visitation. A burial will be held at a later date in Rosehill Cemetery.
Marvin passed away on Monday, July 6, 2016 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born July 20, 1937 in Dallas, Texas to Lillian (Chumley) and Charlie Crosby Hamilton. He married Billie Jean Smith on June 16, 1956 in Roswell, New Mexico. Marvin served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from General Dynamics.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Hamilton; and thirteen siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Hamilton of Cleburne; son, Marvin Hamilton, Jr. of Cleburne; grandchildren, Tamera Hamilton and Guy Haydu, Taylor Moore and husband, Michael, Tori Hamilton; and great-grandchildren, Kidd Haydu, Michael and Matthew Moore, and Kato Gibson.
