Waldene Hancock

Funeral services for Waldene Frances Hancock, 95, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Henry and Bunny Reid will officiate. A private burial will follow after the service.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m. prior to the service at Rosser.
Mrs. Hancock passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at her home. She was born in Marietta, Texas on January 14, 1921, the daughter of Atha (Richey) and Albert Barnes.
Waldene Barnes married Q.Q. Hancock on October 17, 1941 in Naples, Texas.
She was a tremendously loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a long time member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her sons, George Hancock and wife, Sharon, of Keene, Texas, Ed Hancock and wife, Diane, of Centralia, Missouri, John Mark Hancock of Keene; daughters, Candyce Hancock and Resa Miller, both of Keene; brother, Duane Barnes and wife, Sharon, of Keene; sister, Rita Mae Barnes of Keene; sister-in-law, Phala Hancock Martinez of San Bernardino, Calif.; grandchildren, Kenneth Hancock, Brady Hancock, Crystal Miller, Brandon Hancock, John Kyle Miller and Brian Hancock; great grandchildren, Macie Hancock and Sadie Hancock; and a host of other relatives and friends.
