Brownwood—Funeral services for Cora Bell Hankins, 79, of Brownwood, Texas will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Prince, Arthur Switzer, Brady Taylor, Christopher White, Dustin Overton and Jason Leach. Michael Taylor will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Hankins passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 in Brownwood, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on May 12, 1933, the daughter of Norris (Sealy) and John Steadman.
Mrs. Hankins was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Audrey Hankins; daughter, Joyce Dunagan; and brother, Talmage Steadman.
Mrs. Hankins is survived by son, Jeff Hankins and wife, Lisa, of Alvarado, Texas; daughters, Joann Smethers and husband, Jimmy, of Brownwood and Margaret “Maggie” Hankins of Fort Worth; sister, Burnice Haley and husband, John, of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
