Edna Hanks

Funeral services for Edna Ruth “Sweetpea” Hanks, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David denHartog officiating. Private burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Arrington, Quinn Arrington, James McNichols, and L.J. Salach.
Ms. Hanks passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at her home. She was born in Grapevine, Texas on Oct. 8, 1933, the daughter of Audrey Ruth (Geer) and Clyde Allen Hicks. Ms. Hanks was retired from Walmart, where she was a price change coordinator.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Eddie Ray Arrington.
Edna Hanks is survived by her son, Chris Arrington of Cleburne; daughters, Velecia Chance and husband, James, of Cleburne and Rhonda Arrington of Las Colinas, Texas; grandchildren, James McNichols, Brooke Batchelor, Dee Salach, Zachary Arrington, Quinn Arrington and Stephanie Brown-Arrington; and 15 great grandchildren.
