Elouis Hanks

Graveside services for Elouis Hanks, 92, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne, Texas. The Rev. Larry Schneider will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Hanks passed away at home surrounded by his family Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016.
He was born in Jonesboro, Ark. on Aug. 23, 1923, the son of Bertha (Knight) and Charlie Hanks.
Mr. Hanks was a retired foreman with Longhorn Steel Company and was a member of Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church.
He was preceded in death by sons, Tommy and Jessie Hanks; daughter, Debbie Hanks; wife, Eunice Hanks and wife, Marie Tinsley Hanks; sisters, Kathlene Busby and Edra Nix; and brothers, G. W. and Charles Hanks.
Mr. Hanks is survived by his son, Mike Hanks and wife, Peggy of Jonesboro, Ark.; daughter, Barbara Eide of Joshua; sister, Vanita Johnson of Calif.; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several stepchildren and their families; and a host of other family and friends.
