Graveside services for Shannon Elizabeth Hanks, 43, of Cleburne, Texas were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016, in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.
A visitation was held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Shannon passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on December 29, 1972, the daughter of Melanie (St. Martin) and Prentiss Hood.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly Hanks, of Cleburne; daughters, Cassidy and Jennifer, both of Cleburne; father, Prentiss Hood, who she called upon in her times of need, and wife, Glenda, of Lafayette, Louisiana; mother, Melanie Melvin, of Houston, Texas; brothers, Ray Braddock of Lafayette, Prentiss Thomas Hood Jr. and wife, Amy, of Humble, Texas, and Justin Melvin of Houston; sisters, Vikki Landry and husband, David, of Lafayette, Barbara Anne Oliver and husband, Tony, of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Tina Bourque and husband Donnie of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.
