Funeral services for Shirley Ann Hill, 81, of Whitney, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Ms. Hill passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 in Waco, Texas. She was born in Kemp, Texas on July 6, 1939, the daughter of Josie Ada (Warner) and David Coy Tidwell.
Ms. Hill was a retired telephone operator with AT&T and was a member of Gateway Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Dee and Melinda; sister, Veneda; and brothers, David and Danny.
Ms. Hill is survived by her son, Jimmy Don Morris and wife, Dahlia, of Wills Point, Texas; daughter, Vickie Worley of Yantis, Texas; sisters, Barbara Sorenson and husband, Richard, of Clifton, Texas, Uvonne Ross and husband, Robert, of Cleburne, Bonnie Lantrip and husband, Ray, and Mary Tidwell, all of Whitney; grandchildren, Donnie Worley and Christie Worley; and great grandchildren, Dallas, Haven, Lennon, Joplin, and Tesla.
