Louis J Holubec
Funeral services for Louis J. Holubec, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow a 1:30 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Murphy, Tom Meginnis, Charlie Ragsdale, Chris Moore, Chad Murphy, and Ryan Murphy. Cheryl Moore will be an honorary pallbearer.
Mr. Holubec passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Beeville, Texas on August 17, 1925, the son of Hilda (Harborth) and Julius Holubec.
Mr. Holubec served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Evadeen Troy Hardee on November 30, 1946 in Smithville, Texas. Mr. Holubec was retired from the Selective Service Administration and was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evadeen Troy Holubec; and sisters, Shirley Lott and Ella Faye Sites.
Louis Holubec is survived by his daughters, Janie Murphy and husband, Patrick, Cleburne, Texas and Patsy Meginnis and husband, Tom, of Buchanan Dam, Texas; brother, Clifford Holubec; sisters, Lucille Turner, Rosie Smith, Betty Lou Lee, and Linda McCarthy; grandchildren, Cheryl Moore, Charlie Ragsdale, Chad Murphy and Ryan Murphy; great grandchildren, Bryson Moore, Brynn Moore, Aiden Ragsdale, Mason Ragsdale, Cason Murphy, Leighton Murphy and Kinley Murphy.
Memorials may be made in memory of Louis ( in honor of his great-granddaughter, Leighton Murphy) to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northeast Chapter, 3102 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX 75201 or to Community Hospice of Texas, 301 Medpark Circle, Burleson, TX 76028.
