Obituary for
Charles R. "Randy" Hooton
A memorial service celebrating the life of Charles “Randy” Hooton, 63, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Rio Vista, Texas. The Rev. Neale Oliver will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Jay Morris.
Randy passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, off the coast of Florida. He was born in Marshall, Texas on Feb. 23, 1952, the son of Juanell (Shaddix) and John David Hooton.
Randy married Carla Brannon McKneely on Jan. 1, 2001 in Cleburne. He began his career as a civil engineer and retired as a manager of Benchmark Signs in Fort Worth, Texas.
Randy passionately shared his faith in Jesus with others. He diligently served in prison and ex-offender ministries. Randy was a member of First Baptist Church of Rio Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Randy is survived by his wife, Carla Hooton of Cleburne; daughters, Adrienne Flores and husband, Carlos, Laura Hooton, Leah Hooton, all of Fort Worth and Blair McKneely of Granbury, Texas; sons, Brady McKneely of Temple, Texas, Bryce McKneely of Rio Vista and Blane McKneely of Cleburne; grandchildren, Jaden, Nathan, and Tobias Flores, Kado Hooton and Kella McKneely; sisters, Marsha Burr of Fort Smith, Ark. and Brenda Bray and husband, Pat, of Edmond, Okla.
