Dale ""Hammer"" House

Funeral services for Dale “Hammer” House, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Harwell, Jeremy Eller, Brenden Chandler, Clint Moyer, Wesley Brownlee and Tory Coffey.
Mr. House passed away on March 17, 2020 at his home. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 3, 1939, the son of Lexie (Leachman) and Alton Howard House.
Dale and Sue Allen were married on September 17, 1983 in Cleburne, Texas.
He was a retired truck driver from Albertsons and was a member of Castle Berry Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Dale loved his 55 Chevy “She’s My Baby” and attending car shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dale is survived by his wife, Sue House of Cleburne; children, Pamela Thacker of Cleburne, Brenda Rice of Cleburne, Julie Baker and husband, Jim, of Gordonsville, Texas, Tim Hallock and wife, Dana, of Mineral Wells, Texas, Jeffrey Hallock of Fort Worth, Texas and Tim House and wife, Allyson, of Cleburne; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and his doggy, Scrappy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Cleburne Animal Shelter.
