Wilma Dart Hudspeth (Greenwood)
A memorial service for Wilma Dart Hudspeth, 88, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate.
Wilma passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Chisholm Trail Estates Gardens in Keene, Texas. She was born December 31, 1927 in Alvord, Texas, the daughter of Nannie Ellen and William Jefferson Greenwood.
Wilma married Clifford Dart on December 21, 1946. He passed away on January 4, 1997 just after their 50th wedding anniversary. She married Wesley David Hudspeth on September 4, 1999. He passed away April 21, 2012.
Wilma was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleburne and was a member of the Victory Circle of King’s Daughters and Sons. She loved playing bridge, dominoes and all games. She retired from Bank of America where she worked as a teller.
Wilma was also preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Nellie Goodwin Nivens of Alvord, Dora Stansel Sutton of Colorado City, Texas, and Mary Beth Simms of Alvord.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Dart Parnell and husband, Ron, of Cleburne; grandson, Wesley Parnell and wife, Amber of Trophy Club, Texas; great grandsons, Hayes and Holton Parnell; sister, Mildred Greenwood Haney of Alvord; step-daughters, Lynda Hudspeth Butler and husband, Roger of Cleburne, Jessica Hudspeth Miller and husband, George, of Granbury, Texas; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
