Obituary for Lota Lloyd Hughes
Funeral services for Lota Lloyd Hughes, 90, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. before the service at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hughes passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born Dec. 3, 1925 the daughter of Cleo Othel (Forbes) and Mack Govie Jackson.
Lota was married to Billy J. Lloyd on April 3, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Billy J. Lloyd and Jessie Vernon Hughes; step-son Jimmy Hughes; sisters, Buelah Sanford and Mary Weckter.
Lota is survived by her son, Bill Lloyd and wife Stormi of Cleburne; step-daughter in-law Debbie Hughes of Edmund, Ok; step-daughter Inda Burchfiel and husband John of Edmond; brothers, Harold Jackson and wife Mary of OK, Benjamin Kendrick of Alvarado, TX; sisters, Fayna Lilley of Garland, TX, Lois Mitchell of Garland, Lanell Smith of Dallas, TX, Ruth Russell and husband Dan of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Kristin Gentry and husband Frank, Billy Lloyd, Ashleigh Vaughan Ahrberg; and several nieces and nephews.
