Funeral services for Jack Jenkins, 80, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Crossroads Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church "The Cowboy Church" in Joshua with Pastor Bill Kilgore officiating. Burial will follow in Keene Memorial Park.

No visitation is scheduled.

Jack Jenkins passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 in Keene. He was born June 25, 1943 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Martha Mary (Jones) and J.L. Jenkins.

Jack graduated from South Delta High School in 1963. He was a member of the Colonels football team, having the nickname of "Jarring Jack." Jack was a sales representative for Bryan Foods for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Doris Naron; and brother, Dwight Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Jenkins of Keene; son, Mike Jenkins and wife, Melissa of Mississippi; daughters, Robin McLain and husband, Jerry of Louisiana and Amy Hansen and husband, Matt of Colorado; stepson, Louis Speyer of Keene; stepdaughter, Joni Hopps and husband, John, also of Keene; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Nichols of Mississippi; and numerous other family member and friends.
