Jajuan, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and best friend entered the Promised Land at age 74, walking hand in hand with son Jeff on April 27th, 2024.

Jajuan was an incredible homemaker and Sunday School teacher, teaching at FBC Cleburne for over 10 years. She gave generously with her time and spirit and made lasting life impressions on countless 5 year olds and their families. Jajuan's life exemplified the beauty of a kind and generous soul who loved and was loved deeply.

She was born September 8, 1949 and grew up in Hawley, TX with her three sisters on the farm and in town. She met the love of her life in the 7th grade. She and Don walked down the aisle at High school graduation and again on June 5, 1971 where they were married at FBC Hawley. Married almost 53 years, it was a true testament to friendship, teamwork and enduring love. She was a remarkable Mom to Jeff and Diana, sharing her culinary skills, love, and wisdom. Jajuan's goals in life were to be a devoted wife, loving and giving Mom and best friend. She excelled at each.

She was overjoyed to become "Mimi" to Avery; her only grandchild. They were best friends and thick as thieves. She loved her son in law, Ryan and daughter in law, Mandy as if they were her own.

She was never without a glass of iced tea or a Dr. Pepper and they were interchangeable on a 24 hour basis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeff.

Survivors include husband, Don of Burleson, daughter, Diana Myers and husband, Ryan, along with granddaughter Avery, of Newbury Park, California; daughter in law, Mandy Wilson of Austin; sisters, Cheryl Chapman and husband, David, of Hamby, Londa Leverton and husband, Johnney, of Merkel, and Lawynn Beasley and husband, Steve, of Abilene; brother in law, Barry Wilson and wife Jacquetta, of The Woodlands; along with numerous nieces, nephews and devoted friends.

Memorials in her memory may be made to Promises Community Ministries of FBC Burleson or Texans on Mission.
