James Frizzell

A graveside service for James "Fuzz" Frizzell will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Rosehill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.

James went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

He was born March 5, 1937 in Cleburne, Texas to Clara Mae (Byrd) and F. N. Frizzell. He married the love of his life, JoAnne (Osborne) Frizzell on August 17, 1956 in Cleburne, Texas.

He was a carman and supervisor for the Santa Fe Railroad. After retiring, he went to work for Lockheed Martin Aircraft where he also retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years, JoAnne Frizzell (June 27, 2018); brother, Sonny Boy; sisters, Margie Bradshaw, Doris Kilgore, and Susie Underhill; son, Mark Allen Frizzell; and father and mother-in-law, Jack and Pearl (Osborne) Jackson.

James is survived by his sister, Frances Kovasovic; sons, Mike Frizzell and wife, Janet (Meek) Frizzell and Gregg Frizzell and wife, Debbie (George) Frizzell; and daughter-in-law, Robin Frizzell; grandchildren, Chris Frizzell and wife, Kimber Lee (Harper) Frizzell, Maddie Frizzell, Will Frizzell and wife, Marissa (Roof) Frizzell, Allison Quirk, Kayla Cardinale, and Josh Frizzell; great grandchildren, Zander Frizzell, Evan and Jackson Cardinale, Tyler Quirk, and Zack and Kissa Frizzell; numerous nieces and nephews; family friends, David Hogg and family, Daniel and Ginger Torres and family, and Shirley and Richard and family.
