Michael Louis "Mike" Janszen
KOPPERL -- Michael Louis Janszen, 66, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cleburne Bible Church, 817-641-8142. Interment: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cleburne Bible Church.

Mike was born on Nov. 14, 1945, to E.A. "Pete" and Doris Garrett Janszen in Fort Worth. He was a longtime resident of Hurst. Mike graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1964, attended SMU on a football scholarship where he graduated with a bachelor of science in education in 1969. He went on to Baylor School of Physical Therapy in Dallas. Mike married Janice Morgan on Aug. 23, 1968, in Hurst.
He established his physical therapy practice in Hurst, beginning in 1971. He began his practice at Glenview Hospital in the Mid Cities area and later established Mid Cities Physical Therapy Clinic. His love of sports medicine expanded into all facets of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Mike was a resident of Keller for 32 years where he and his wife, Jan, reared four children. In 2004 he moved to his ranch in Bosque County where he became a full-time rancher and devoted himself to various ministries, including Band of Brothers, Coaches Outreach, and men's Bible studies.
He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment, love and devotion to his wife, his kids, his grandkids and many friends. Mike's example of persistence and devotion to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was evident until the Lord called him home.
He was a member of Cleburne Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, E.A. Janszen.
Survivors: Wife, Jan Janszen of Kopperl; children, Janalynn "J.J." and husband, Dr. Ray Ford, of Cleburne, Jamie Rutledge and husband, Clint, of New Braunfels, Tully Janszen and wife, Tara, of Kopperl, Joy Janszen of Kopperl; grandchildren, Jesse, Ruth, Esther, Anna and Joshua Ford, all of Cleburne, Raylee and Ryder Rutledge, both of New Braunfels; mother, Doris Janszen of Kopperl; and twin sister, Sue Wise and husband, Tom, of Kopperl.
