Ramsey Jekkar

Pastor Ramsey Jekkar, 43, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 19, 1975 in the Marshall Islands. He married Jenny Jekkar in 1995 in the Marshall Islands before moving to the United States in November of 2000. He worked as a Deacon with Reverend Nelson Lobout at Bukot Nan Jesus Church at Laura, Marshall Islands. Ramsey moved to Springdale, Arkansas in 2008 and then from 2008 to 2018 he and his family lived in Enid, Oklahoma where he worked with Reverend Timothy Libokmeto. During his calling he was planning to move with his parents to Texas to help with his ministry in Cleburne. He worked with his father in the music department along with his two brothers, Jeffery Jekkar and Wally Jekkar.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jekkar of Cleburne; mother and father, Nerison and Leonard Jekkar of Cleburne; son, Renny Jekkar of Cleburne; daughter, Sarah Jekkar of Cleburne; siblings, James Jekkar and wife Rosaline of Springdale, Arkansas, Cassidy Jekkar, and Walson Jekkar and wife Cammay, all of Paragould, Arkansas, Jeffery Jekkar and wife Mina, Wally Jekkar and wife Naima, and Cynthia Jesse and husband Jud, all of Cleburne, Neryann Bien and husband Casper of Celina, Ohio, Josela Jekkar and husband Rod of Springdale, Arkansas, and Jenella Toring and husband Hearold of Cleburne; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
