Funeral services for Mamie Luthene Johnson, 92, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Glover officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born in Cleburne on May 9, 1920, the daughter of Ruth (Blanton) and Thomas A. Thompson.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R. L. Johnson; sisters, Voneita Boyer, Stella Massengale and Mary McLain.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Gary Johnson and wife, Judy; daughters, Ruth Ann Hopkins and Nancy Walker, all of Cleburne; sisters, Billie Lowe of Cleburne and Dorothy Johnson and husband, Wesley, of Temple, Texas; grandchildren, Wendy Shelton and husband, John, Jana Frank, Jim Windham and wife, Myriam, Robby Johnson, Leslie Rosser and husband, Scott, Stan Rose and wife, Mimi, and Alan Rose; six great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
