He was born October 21, 1928 in Paris, Texas to Ola Mae (Hubbard) and Buck Johnson and made his living as a dairy farmer.
He is survived by daughters, Ruth Sheppard, Rhona Winans, and Tammi Salach; son, Ray Johnson; 19 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
