Services for Wershiell Johnston, 73, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Beth Haven Cemetery in Lingleville, Texas.
The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Wershiell passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas.
He was born February 26, 1940 in Gorman, Texas to Elva (Hendon) and Dale Johnston.
Wershiell married Janet Zirbel on April 9, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Robert.
Wershiell is survived by his wife, Janet Johnston of Cleburne; son, Wershiel “Hal” Johnston and spouse, Kathleen, of Cleburne; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Burish and fiancé, Clint Haag, of Fort Worth and Tina Russell and spouse, Charles, of Tampa, Florida; daughter in law, Tracy Hall of Saginaw; sisters, Belinda Pinion and spouse, Bob, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Janette Sparks of Seattle, Washington, and Debbie Eakin and spouse, David, of Alvarado; eight grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
