Obituary for Annie Marie Jones (Riza)
Funeral services for Annie Marie Jones, 91, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David denHartog officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Humphries, Jody Bush, Robby Hamm, Cody Jones, Clinton Bell, David Jones and Brandon Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Jones and John Paul Jones.
Mrs. Jones passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cleburne on May 28, 1923, the daughter of Eugene (Simpson) and Tom Henry Riza.
Annie worked at Cleburne Textile and Rangaire before becoming a stay at home wife and mother. She enjoyed reading and gardening and operated a cement patio furniture shop at her home. Annie was a loving mother and grandmother. A member of Lebanon Baptist Church, she was a tough, independent Christian woman.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Jones; son, Bill Jones; brothers, John and E. T. Riza; and sisters, Lou Doris Moore, Alberta VanMeter and Irene Fife.
She is survived by her sons, Doyle Jones and wife, Sandra, of Burleson, Texas, James Jones and wife, Delores and David Jones and wife, Carol, all of Cleburne; daughter, Linda Keller and husband, George, of Cleburne; brothers, Randall Riza of Crowley, Texas and Jack Riza and wife, Sue, of Cleburne; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
