Funeral services for James Vernon Judkins, 74, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Weldon Coble officiating. Burial will follow in Derden Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Judkins passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born in Valley Mills, Texas on February 7, 1938, the son of Emma (Vernon) and Robert Judkins.
James was a retired truck driver and was a member of Faith Temple Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kathy Judkins; son, Tony Gaskill; grandson, Cory Gaskill; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Moore; and brothers, Johnny, Harold and Junior Judkins.
James Judkins is survived by his wife, Helen Judkins of Cleburne; sons, Keith Judkins of Cleburne, Randy Judkins and wife, Renee, of Iredell, Texas, Daniel Gaskill and wife, Debra, of Rio Vista, Texas, and Elijah Gaskill and wife, Sarita, of Cleburne; daughters, Diane Rainwater and husband, Terry of Hico, Texas, Elaine Judkins of Cleburne, Shirley Leal Judkins and husband, Tony, of Garland, Texas, Dicie Oppong of Cleburne, Mary Whitehead and husband, James, of Cleburne, and Martha Artre and husband, James, of Azle, Texas; step-daughter, Wendy Murphy and husband, Clint, of McGregor, Texas; daughter-in-law, Doris Gaskill of Joshua, Texas; brother, Billy Judkins and wife, Carol, of Oregon; sister, Ruby Judkins of Abilene, Texas; 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
