Funeral services for Julia Ann “Judy” Patman, 86, of Covington, Texas will be begin at 10:00am on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel, Cleburne, Texas. Gravesite services will follow promptly after the funeral at the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be held the preceding day on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Rosser Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

 Judy Patman passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her home in Covington, Texas. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on June 19, 1938, to Jewell (Newsom) and Roy D. Day. On May 21, 1954, Judy married Joe Edwin “Ed” Patman in Cleburne, Texas and remained married for 50 years until Ed’s death in 2004. Judy also enjoyed her life with her long-term partner and boyfriend, Don Jean from 2014 until Don’s death in 2019. She was a retired bookkeeper and belonged to the Christian faith, Baptist denomination. 

 Judy was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jewell Day; husband, Ed Patman; and brothers, Major Thomas Carlton Day and Waylon Day. Judy is survived by her sons, Micheal Patman and wife Joan of Covington, Texas and David “Pat” Patman and wife, Beverly, of Rio Vista, Texas; grandchildren, Caine Patman and wife, Tailer, Rachel Patman Waggoner and husband, Brian, Ellanie Patman, Stephen Patman, Capt. Daniel Patman and wife, Elin, Monica Garcia and husband, Eduardo, Esteban Martinez and wife, Susan, and Maria Jose Castenada; great-grandchildren, Tinley Patman, Ty Patman, Sammye Garcia, and Emilio Garcia; and other family members and friends.
