A memorial service celebrating the life of Jeffrey Todd Kandt, 48, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Cleburne. The Rev. Joe Ardy will officiate.
A visitation will be held at the church from 5 – 7 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012.
Jeff, a lifelong resident of Cleburne, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in California. He was born January 14, 1964, the son of Bob and Shirley Kandt.
Jeff graduated from CHS in 1982 and from SWTSU in San Marcos with a degree in advertising.
He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.
He was currently employed by National Fleet Tracking, a division of Glen Rose Transportation Management. Jeff had also worked at KLLM Trucking, seasonally at The Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth, and for many years, at the family business, Ben Franklin Crafts. However, he was most loved and remembered as our local DJ: “Jammin’ Jeff Kandt”. Jeff was creative, enthusiastic, loved music and concerts and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Kandt.
Jeff is survived by his father, Bob Kandt; sister Rebecca Roe and husband, Robert; and nephews, Ryan and Garrison Roe, all of Cleburne.
