Howell Kenneth (PaPaw) Kennemer, Sr.
Services for Howell Kenneth (PaPaw) Kennemer, Sr. , 86, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Price's Chapel Cemetery. Pastor David Kimbrow will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Corey Aiken, Matthew Aiken, Fred Wells, Charlie Tingle, Ronnie Grizzle, Eric Schlotter, and Terrance Kennemer.
PaPaw passed away on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born Aug. 23, 1925 in Cleburne, Texas to J.L. Kennemer and Rosa Lee Covington Kennemer. PaPaw had a twin brother and grew up in Cleburne. Many people knew or had heard of the Kennemer twins. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard and was Assembly of God. He was one of the owners of Sweet Imaginations Bakery in Burleson. Many know him as the World's Greatest Baker. He was proud to be a member of the Cleburne Lodge No. 315 where he was a Master Mason.
PaPaw was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; daughter, Patricia Kennemer; and two step-sons, Paul Jones and Charles Dowell.
He is survived by his sons, Kenny Kennemer, Jim Jones, Mark Jones and wife Pattie, Shawn Jones; daughters, Shanda Wells and husband Fred, Joyce Kennemer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
