Obituary for Shirley Darlene King (Brown)
A memorial service celebrating the life of Shirley Darlene King, 70, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Donald Ledbetter and Bro. David Bristow will officiate.
Shirley passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Cleburne on Sept. 30, 1943, to Gracie Faye (Ledbetter) and Granville Cleo Brown.
She was a property manager and was a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Kellie King Moore and Christie King of Cleburne; son, David King of Fort Worth; grandchildren, J.D. Moore and wife, Abby, Cassie Moore, Morgan Lanum, Carson King, Logan King and Griffin King, and Jacob and Mylee Stewart; great grandchildren, Brandon Moore, Alicia Diaz and one on the way; sister, Neta Fowler and husband, Maxie, and nephew, Derek Blevins, all of Grandview, Texas; daughter-in-law, Holly King and sons-in-law Kelly Moore and Keith Stewart that she loved very much; and a host of other family and friends.
