A memorial service celebrating the life of Betty Lue Lackey, 71, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Betty Lackey passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Whitney, Texas. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Jan. 5, 1945.
Betty married Steve Lackey on July 11, 1993 in Cleburne. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of American Legion Post #50 in Cleburne.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one sister; and dog, Prissy.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Lackey of Cleburne; sons, Jerry Don Overton, Jr. of Whitney and Jason Lackey and wife, Heather, of Cleburne; daughters, Sheila Clay and husband, Wayne, Susan Hill and Connie Timmons, all of Whitney; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
